Informing new staff members about processes, procedures and systems is well ordered in most organisations. But getting new staff used to cultural values and behavioural rules can often be much trickier: it usually involves a personal voyage of discovery over a longer period of time.Trigon was developed to make new staff members familiar with the culture of your organisation in an enjoyable manner and in short amount of time. This takes place by stimulating participants to get a dialog going about situations which they might encounter in their professional surroundings.
Trigon is played by four to six players around a large game board. The participants determine how they want to play each round. They may chose from the following elements:
After the game has ended, a winner is announced. Each participant receives feedback about their individual final score which gives them insight into the manner in which they consciously or unconsciously deal with dilemmas in a work situation, both in general and specifically in the organization. Furthermore, they have had the opportunity to get acquainted with (future) colleagues and the culture of the organisation in an informal setting. The character profile provides the participants with a model which they can use on a daily basis to start conversations and keep talking about manifold issues.
