Simply delivering quality is not sufficient to build a strong enterprise. That requires consciously and actively investing in internal and external relationships. But delivering quality and investing in relationships at the same time is easier said than done. How do you put that into practice? Where do you find the time? How can you inspire your clients and colleagues to search for synergy together? The Bizzbuilder game was developed to let participants experience which actions in reality lead to more than just a static business. To growth! 

Doing business interactively with Bizzbuilder

On the table are four game boards and a laptop. Each board represents an independent business unit with its own clients and staff, directed by a team of a maximum of three participants. The teams carry out projects by setting their own staff to work or hiring the expertise of the other business units. They are also allowed to train staff or recruit new personnel. The team inputs its decisions into the laptop by way of a few simple procedures and passes the laptop to the next team.

Just a bit further

Stasis is decline. Bizzbuilder lets staff members experience what happens in the long term if they are prepared to offer just that little bit more. They discover the positive effects of dealing with client relations actively and selectively, collaborating with colleagues and making client-specific investments. While playing the game, they encounter how a proactive approach with existing clients can lead to more appreciation, follow-up projects and active referrals to potential new clients. After all the teams have input their decisions, the system gives them feedback about their total revenue, staff turnover, acquired client information and a total score of the impact on the perception of their clients. Based on this management information, teams can adjust their strategy in order to score (even) better in the next round. As the game proceeds and the correct strategies are implemented, they receive new projects so that their business unit evolves.

The effects of Bizzbuilder

With direct, recognizable feedback, Bizzbuilder gives participants a realistic picture of the consequences of their decisions. They receive extra projects or they lose projects. In the game they develop strategic plans in order to better serve their clients. They get the results immediately which in a short time gives them ‘hands on’ experience about the effects of client sensitivity at a strategic level. This is excellent experience that they can put into practice in expanding the business.

Bizzbuilder is interesting for all professional service providers who want to stimulate their staff to enter into a partnership with external and internal clients. The game has been developed for groups of 12 to 130 people.
